OPI Dating a Royal and Lynnderella Connect The Dots

Hello lovelies!!

OMG! I think yesterday makes 2 MONTHS since i've posted!  I don't know what's been wrong with me. I think i just got in a really big funk. I've been doing my nails just not posting on my blog. So i have a lot of manicures to write about. I was sitting on the couch the other night trying to figure out what color to paint my nails! I knew I wanted to use Lynnderella's Connect The Dots just couldn't decide what base color to use. My good friend Taylor from Nailed to the T helped me decide on OPI Dating a Royal. I love how shiny it looks and i just love jellies! We saw jellies first in OPI's Texas collection. I picked up a few of those. I think jellies looks so pretty but I don't really like the application of them because they are so sheer and i always feel like they are streaky. I used 2 coats for the picture below :)

After I saw how pretty and shiny Dating a Royal looked I wasn't sure I wanted to put Connect The dots on but of course I had to! Connect the dots is a polish made by Lynnderella. She has some gorgeous polishes and you can check out Lynnderella's page here. Here new collection Lovely is As Lovely Does is coming out soon! She does have a 5 bottle minimum if you are interested in less bottles than that head on over to llarowe! I think a lot of them are out of stock right now but she is getting a new shipment in soon :)

I love this combo! It's like constellations on my nails!

What do you think?

Of course I used one coat of Poshe topcoat like always : )

It's so perfect to me! I just love it! I've had this mani on since tuesday. Of course it's only been 2 days but  no chips yet :)

What do you all think of this mani? Have you bought any Lynnderella's yet? If so tell me which ones in the comments!

Better late than never!!

Hello lovelies!!

I know I'm late posting this but I figured better late than never! I decided that for Halloween this year i'd buy my costume a few weeks early! So I tried on a million like always and decided on Queen Bee ;-) It looked the best out of all of them. I also figured that it was quite fitting for me ;-) Of course I was thinking about what mani I would do to go with it. So one of my nail polish buddies sent me a link to a youtube video for the most adorable bee manicure. But I suck at nail art. I am trying to get better I guess with anything it just takes a lot of practice. After all I used to not even be able to paint my left hand! The middle of my costume has stripes so i figured I can do this! It will be pretty simple and it was. I got a lot of compliments on it. Oh and did i mention that I was the only Queen Bee!? That was awesome! I knew that I would need to do a test run and I decided on OPI The "It" Color. I describe this color as taxi cab yellow because that's exactly what it looks like to me. I only did one thick coat and then I did the black stripes with  black nail art polish. It has a very thin brush that is used specifically for nail art.

Queen Bee ;-)

My test run : )

One of my TOP 5 polishes!! (pic heavy!)

Hello ladies! I know I haven't posted in awhile! I need to start planning out my blog posts better! I sat down last night wondering what color to paint my nails. I finally decided on the gorgeous OPI Catch Me In Your Net. I have heard from other bloggers that CMIYN stains really bad. So i didn't want to take any chances! I don't do swatch-a-thons so my nails are never stained. I wondered what color I would use as a base. I decided on OPI Ski Teal We Drop which is a gorgeous blue/teal creme. I LOVE this color! I thought about just making it my mani but I needed some sparkle! So I put Catch Me In Your Net over top! Catch me in your net is a teal foil metallic. Let me just say I love this combo! I'm going to have to start wearing it more often. It's BEAUTIFUL!! I can't stop staring at my nails. It reminds of a mermaids tail shimmering in the sun. I think it looks ALOT better over top of other colors such as blue, green or black. It's just very sheer and requires at least three coats and you still have visible nail line. Who the heck wants to waste Catch Me In Your Net!? Not me that's for sure! This color comes from the OPI Summer Flutter collection. I have also heard that Zoya Charla is a dupe for it. I cannot do a comparison for you because I don't like Zoya. (Zoya takes forever to dry! IMO : ) I actually got this on Ebay for around $16. I had to have it when I saw it!

I just love this teal creme!

I need to use this more often!

My first Halloween mani!!

Hello everyone! It has been a busy day but I managed to squeeze in a Halloween mani. I couldn't decide what to use for this manicure. I finally decided on OPI Black Onyx it's my favorite black creme. I love it. I love it on it's own but of course it's not very Halloween-ish! So i had to put Lynderellas Cauldron Drippings over top from her Early Halloween collection! Check out her website Lynnderella : ) I'm not sure when her store will be open again. Cauldron Drippings is a mixture of mainly orange bar glitter and square yellow and green hexagon shaped glitter. I love it!

My favorite black creme : )

My first leopard print mani!

Good afternoon ladies! So I got bored with OPI Bubble Bath and decided to attempt my first leopard print mani! I used mermaid tears, planks a lot and lucky lucky lavender all OPI :) I also used OPI black onyx for the outlining of the spots. I hope you all like this! I can't wait to attempt some more nail art! This was pretty easy except for my right hand of course. It was a little bit tricky! I hope with more practice I'll get better :)

What do you think about my first attempt at nail art? : )

OPI Bubble Bath

Hello ladies!! I've been watching my show tonight so i just did a simple mani while I watched tv. For those of you that don't know the season premiere of Grey's Anatomy was tonight! I've been so excited for it! I have for you tonight OPI Bubble Bath it's a very light milky pink. I've had this soft shade for awhile and I haven't used it much. I applied a 3 coats and there is still visible nail line. I don't mind though because I think it's pretty. I heard that older bottles are more of a milky white color. I have newer one though : ) I just love this color. I'm thinking about maybe using it as a base for water marbling tomorrow!? What do you all think?

3 coats of OPI Bubble Bath

Just simple and pretty : )

A little visible nail line never hurt anyone!

What do you all think of Bubble Bath? What are some of your favorite Soft Shades?

You asked for it!

Hello! I hope everybody has had a great weekend. Mine has consisted mostly of sleep and homework and of course nails : ) The poll is over and OPI Black Onyx is the next color you all wanted to see OPI Standing Room Only over. My best friend actually came over to my house the other day with black nails! So of course an idea popped into my head for Standing Room Only. Let me just tell you it's gorgeous over black. Amber has long round nails and she will be featured in this post. I love her nails if I could grow mind that long I'd probably file them round. But I have always had square nails because that's just the way they grow : ) Amber was so excited when I told her I was going to have her nails on my blog! I told her about the poll I had going and that this was such a coincidence. I've never seen her nails black before but she just got a tattoo and she wanted to paint her nails to match. I can totally understand that I'm sure I would probably do the same thing. I don't have any tattoos though.  I hope you all enjoy seeing her nails on this post!

How pretty is that!?

I've decided that Standing Room Only definitely belongs in my Top 5 : )

Fun and Simple : )

Hello ladies! I picked up 3 new polishes yesterday from Ulta, 1 of the new Orly Mineral FX and a black nail art brush. It's pretty cool!  I could only justify buying one Orly because they were $9.00! Apparently Orly is on sale this month at Sally's for $5.00 but the girl told me that the mineral FX was limited edition and wasn't included. I was so mad but i'll get some more at Ulta when they get the collection. At Ulta I got OPI It's My Year and Samoan Sand. I couldn't wait to try out Orly Stone Cold but then i decided i didn't feel like waiting and waiting for it to dry. I took it off and put on Samoan Sand and fell in <3 with it. It's definitely my favorite nude polish. It's really taking some getting used to because normally i wouldn't like a color that simple. Samoan sand is a nude creme. I did 2 coats then for some fun I did polka dots on the accent nail with OPI You Don't Know Jacques. I haven't ordered a dotting tool yet so I just used the end of a bobby pin. It worked really good : ) I got the idea from this video on You Tube Make your own dotting tools! I found it to be really helpful. I'm still going to order some soon though : )

L to R: Orly Stone Cold, OPI Samoan Sand, OPI It's My Year and a black nail art brush from Sally's they are 2 for $7 right now : )

All of my nails..I should have put more dots on my pinky!

Another one : )

What do you think of nude polish!?

Also one of my followers requested that I do some water marbling and tutorials! I've water marbled once and i think it turned out really great but the picture is kind of blurry so i don't really want to post it. Let me know in the comments if you would like to see water marbling too! You can look for that on my blog  this weekend : )

OPI Ogre The Top Blue and Kleancolor Party Fever

Hello Ladies!! Today I have for you OPI Ogre The Top Blue it comes from the Shrek collection. It is a bright blue creme. It came out a few years ago but I think it's still available online. I got Ogre The Top Blue a few weeks ago at Ulta on clearance. It was the last one I needed from the collection. If you are interested in the Shrek collection are funky dunky, what's with the cattitude, rumples wiggin, fiercely fiona and who the shrek are you? I love all of them! Ogre the Top blue applied like butter. I almost got away with just one coat but I did 2 just to even things out. This is my new favorite blue. I hope you love this as much as i do. This post is also going to be very picture heavy. It photographed beautifully so i wanted to include all of them. Also I did a few things with Kleancolor Party Fever : )

This is one thick coat it's a little streaky

I suppose one coat would have been fine!

My new favorite blue!

This is 2 coats of Ogre The Top Blue

Isn't it beautiful?

Did i mention that turquoise is my other favorite color!?

Good morning everyone!! It's almost noon here it's time for to get out of bed and get ready. I'm going to lunch with my mommy and then shopping with her! There is only ONE thing I need today and that's Lancome Doll Lashes! I am hoping this mascara is amazing as it looks. I can't wait to try it on today at the Lancome counter. Well onto the nail polish! Last night I did this mani in about 10 minutes. I had to get ready to go out with my best friend Amber and I couldn't be trying to get dressed with nails! We all know that doesn't work! I picked up Sinful Rise and Shine at Walgreens the other day. I was just looking for the Wet N Wild Halloween polish but I didn't find it! Naturally I started looking at other polishes and for those of you that don't know teal is one of my favorite colors next to PINK <3 The application of this was really smooth and it's only my second Sinful polish i've ever used. I started thinking I need something to layer on top of this. So i decided to try out OPI Sparkle Teal Sunrise for the first time. I got this at Ulta awhile back. It was an Ulta Exclusive which means it was only available at Ulta. Maybe you can still find it online somewhere. Yes, you can but it's going for about $25.00 a bottle. Super expensive but here is the link if you MUST have it  Sparkle Teal Sunrise! I really loved this mani. I think the glitter on top worked beautifully with Sinful Rise and Shine : )

I love this combo!!

Hello ladies!! :D I'm sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I have been busy with my classes. I am taking 3 online classes this semester and it's hard staying on top of everything. Oh and on top of that I just haven't been myself but I am trying my best to snap out of it! Polish helps and hopefully by sunday I will have some of the new Wet N Wild Halloween polish! So I was getting bored with My Private Jet and I had just gotten my kleancolor chunky holo black from my good friend Amber! I just couldn't wait to used it. I put 2 coats right over My Private Jet. I really liked the way it turned out. I'm excited the most to try chunky holo black over black. I think it will be gorgeous <3 So I hope you love this is as much as I do! Check out kleancolor at beautyjoint!

OPI My Private Jet

So I'm not sure why I do most of my posts at night. I think it's because I'm just relaxing watching tv. Today was a busy day of cleaning and playing racquetball. I'm so upset that my nails are so short right now. I know a lot of people wouldn't call them nubbins but I do! I can't wait for them to grow out. Luckily my nails grow pretty fast. I need to get some more Nutra Nail ASAP. I'm convinced this green stuff is magic in a bottle! But I guess for now i'll just have to deal with these nubbins :( So i couldn't decided what color to use for my mani usually when my nails are short I opt for something really light that I can't really see. I think it's because I tend to get the dark polish all over my skin and I hate clean up! I finally decided on OPI My Private Jet. I bought this color along time ago at Ulta. I got it before people were going crazy over it! I bought it because I just loved the name and then I said oh the color is pretty too : ) If i had to wear one polish the rest of my life it would be this or OPI Russian Navy. They are definitely in my top 5 polishes : ) My Private Jet is a brown with a lot of silver holographic glitter. I thought this polish was gray and it looks gray to me with 3 coats. I know there are a bunch of different versions of it floating around. I think I got the original holo but i'll let you be the judge : )

I will take some outside in the sun tomorrow!! : )
