My first leopard print mani!

Good afternoon ladies! So I got bored with OPI Bubble Bath and decided to attempt my first leopard print mani! I used mermaid tears, planks a lot and lucky lucky lavender all OPI :) I also used OPI black onyx for the outlining of the spots. I hope you all like this! I can't wait to attempt some more nail art! This was pretty easy except for my right hand of course. It was a little bit tricky! I hope with more practice I'll get better :)

What do you think about my first attempt at nail art? : )

OPI Bubble Bath

Hello ladies!! I've been watching my show tonight so i just did a simple mani while I watched tv. For those of you that don't know the season premiere of Grey's Anatomy was tonight! I've been so excited for it! I have for you tonight OPI Bubble Bath it's a very light milky pink. I've had this soft shade for awhile and I haven't used it much. I applied a 3 coats and there is still visible nail line. I don't mind though because I think it's pretty. I heard that older bottles are more of a milky white color. I have newer one though : ) I just love this color. I'm thinking about maybe using it as a base for water marbling tomorrow!? What do you all think?

Just simple and pretty : )

A little visible nail line never hurt anyone!

What do you all think of Bubble Bath? What are some of your favorite Soft Shades?

You asked for it!

Hello! I hope everybody has had a great weekend. Mine has consisted mostly of sleep and homework and of course nails : ) The poll is over and OPI Black Onyx is the next color you all wanted to see OPI Standing Room Only over. My best friend actually came over to my house the other day with black nails! So of course an idea popped into my head for Standing Room Only. Let me just tell you it's gorgeous over black. Amber has long round nails and she will be featured in this post. I love her nails if I could grow mind that long I'd probably file them round. But I have always had square nails because that's just the way they grow : ) Amber was so excited when I told her I was going to have her nails on my blog! I told her about the poll I had going and that this was such a coincidence. I've never seen her nails black before but she just got a tattoo and she wanted to paint her nails to match. I can totally understand that I'm sure I would probably do the same thing. I don't have any tattoos though.  I hope you all enjoy seeing her nails on this post!

How pretty is that!?

I've decided that Standing Room Only definitely belongs in my Top 5 : )

The Glittering Crowd

Hello lovelies!! Today i received the best nail mail EVER!! My order from Lynnderella arrived wednesday but I just got home today! I couldn't wait to tear into the box. I opened the box and just sitting there all wrapped up were my Lynnderella frankens!! The 3 I got are The Glittering Crowd, Connect the Dots and Cauldron Drippings. I have The Glittering Crowd swatched for you tonight. I'm not sure how long i'll keep this on but i'm really loving it! The Glittering Crowd is a multi colored hexagon, square and circle glitter. All the hexagons are different sizes. This might just be my new favorite glitter! If you haven't heard of Lynderella you're missing out! Check out her website if you're interested in ordering some. She just posted that her shop will be open again next week for more Early Halloween orders. Click the link to view her page :) Lynnderella's Early Halloween They are $12 per bottle with a minimum order of 5. The best way to get these is to do a group order with somebody who is also interested in getting some. Shipping wasn't cheap but it was UPS and they arrived just 2 days after I placed my order. I even went as far as making my home page her website! I know i'm a little obsessed but I didn't want to miss a beat : ) Don't miss out on these. I'm not sure how long they will be available for but start practicing your clicking skills! I'd also write the email you're going to send her and save it as a draft. That way you don't have to worry about missing out! There are a bunch to choose from. I had a hard time just choosing 3! I need more : )

Fun and Simple : )

Hello ladies! I picked up 3 new polishes yesterday from Ulta, 1 of the new Orly Mineral FX and a black nail art brush. It's pretty cool!  I could only justify buying one Orly because they were $9.00! Apparently Orly is on sale this month at Sally's for $5.00 but the girl told me that the mineral FX was limited edition and wasn't included. I was so mad but i'll get some more at Ulta when they get the collection. At Ulta I got OPI It's My Year and Samoan Sand. I couldn't wait to try out Orly Stone Cold but then i decided i didn't feel like waiting and waiting for it to dry. I took it off and put on Samoan Sand and fell in <3 with it. It's definitely my favorite nude polish. It's really taking some getting used to because normally i wouldn't like a color that simple. Samoan sand is a nude creme. I did 2 coats then for some fun I did polka dots on the accent nail with OPI You Don't Know Jacques. I haven't ordered a dotting tool yet so I just used the end of a bobby pin. It worked really good : ) I got the idea from this video on You Tube Make your own dotting tools! I found it to be really helpful. I'm still going to order some soon though : )

L to R: Orly Stone Cold, OPI Samoan Sand, OPI It's My Year and a black nail art brush from Sally's they are 2 for $7 right now : )

2 coats of OPI Samoan Sand <3

2 coats of OPI Samoan Sand and OPI You Don't Know Jacques on my the accent nail

All of my nails..I should have put more dots on my pinky!

Another one : )

What do you think of nude polish!?

Also one of my followers requested that I do some water marbling and tutorials! I've water marbled once and i think it turned out really great but the picture is kind of blurry so i don't really want to post it. Let me know in the comments if you would like to see water marbling too! You can look for that on my blog  this weekend : )

Hello Ladies!! Today I have for you OPI Ogre The Top Blue it comes from the Shrek collection. It is a bright blue creme. It came out a few years ago but I think it's still available online. I got Ogre The Top Blue a few weeks ago at Ulta on clearance. It was the last one I needed from the collection. If you are interested in the Shrek collection are funky dunky, what's with the cattitude, rumples wiggin, fiercely fiona and who the shrek are you? I love all of them! Ogre the Top blue applied like butter. I almost got away with just one coat but I did 2 just to even things out. This is my new favorite blue. I hope you love this as much as i do. This post is also going to be very picture heavy. It photographed beautifully so i wanted to include all of them. Also I did a few things with Kleancolor Party Fever : )

This is one thick coat it's a little streaky

I suppose one coat would have been fine!

Gorgeous over any color!

Hello Ladies!! : ) I received some EPIC nail mail today from my friend Rhonni! This has been on my wish list since I saw swatches of it. This polish is AMAZING. I don't have any other words for it. You can put it over pretty much any color and it turns into a holo! I think i'm in love with it..honestly : ) Just make sure you do a thin coat of it because if you don't you won't be able to see the color through it very well. It's very hard to find but maybe you can get lucky on a dusty hunt. If you find it don't hesitate to buy it! It took me awhile to decide what color to put underneath it. I decided to choose OPI Flashbulb Fuchsia. It reminds me of a pink DS glamour. I won't keep you waiting any longer : ) I hope you enjoy it!

PS: I can't wait to try this over OPI Black Onyx! I think it's going to be GORGEOUS <3

I wanted to pick a color to match my flower : )

Did i mention that turquoise is my other favorite color!?

Good morning everyone!! It's almost noon here it's time for to get out of bed and get ready. I'm going to lunch with my mommy and then shopping with her! There is only ONE thing I need today and that's Lancome Doll Lashes! I am hoping this mascara is amazing as it looks. I can't wait to try it on today at the Lancome counter. Well onto the nail polish! Last night I did this mani in about 10 minutes. I had to get ready to go out with my best friend Amber and I couldn't be trying to get dressed with nails! We all know that doesn't work! I picked up Sinful Rise and Shine at Walgreens the other day. I was just looking for the Wet N Wild Halloween polish but I didn't find it! Naturally I started looking at other polishes and for those of you that don't know teal is one of my favorite colors next to PINK <3 The application of this was really smooth and it's only my second Sinful polish i've ever used. I started thinking I need something to layer on top of this. So i decided to try out OPI Sparkle Teal Sunrise for the first time. I got this at Ulta awhile back. It was an Ulta Exclusive which means it was only available at Ulta. Maybe you can still find it online somewhere. Yes, you can but it's going for about $25.00 a bottle. Super expensive but here is the link if you MUST have it  Sparkle Teal Sunrise! I really loved this mani. I think the glitter on top worked beautifully with Sinful Rise and Shine : )

2 coats of Sinful Rise and Shine w/1 coat of OPI Sparkle Teal Sunrise

I love this combo!!

Hello ladies!! :D I'm sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I have been busy with my classes. I am taking 3 online classes this semester and it's hard staying on top of everything. Oh and on top of that I just haven't been myself but I am trying my best to snap out of it! Polish helps and hopefully by sunday I will have some of the new Wet N Wild Halloween polish! So I was getting bored with My Private Jet and I had just gotten my kleancolor chunky holo black from my good friend Amber! I just couldn't wait to used it. I put 2 coats right over My Private Jet. I really liked the way it turned out. I'm excited the most to try chunky holo black over black. I think it will be gorgeous <3 So I hope you love this is as much as I do! Check out kleancolor at beautyjoint!

OPI My Private Jet

So I'm not sure why I do most of my posts at night. I think it's because I'm just relaxing watching tv. Today was a busy day of cleaning and playing racquetball. I'm so upset that my nails are so short right now. I know a lot of people wouldn't call them nubbins but I do! I can't wait for them to grow out. Luckily my nails grow pretty fast. I need to get some more Nutra Nail ASAP. I'm convinced this green stuff is magic in a bottle! But I guess for now i'll just have to deal with these nubbins :( So i couldn't decided what color to use for my mani usually when my nails are short I opt for something really light that I can't really see. I think it's because I tend to get the dark polish all over my skin and I hate clean up! I finally decided on OPI My Private Jet. I bought this color along time ago at Ulta. I got it before people were going crazy over it! I bought it because I just loved the name and then I said oh the color is pretty too : ) If i had to wear one polish the rest of my life it would be this or OPI Russian Navy. They are definitely in my top 5 polishes : ) My Private Jet is a brown with a lot of silver holographic glitter. I thought this polish was gray and it looks gray to me with 3 coats. I know there are a bunch of different versions of it floating around. I think I got the original holo but i'll let you be the judge : )

I will take some outside in the sun tomorrow!! : )

It's my first Zoya!!

Hello ladies!!

I'm sitting on my couch relaxing while I watch Dexter. This is one of my favorite shows I wish i had Showtime! So I picked out one of my brand new Zoyas for my mani. I got Zoya Neeka from their recent buy one get 2 free polishes. It comes from their fall Mirrors collection.  It is a purplish gray with gold shimmer.  I was so excited to finally try this brand! I've heard mixed reviews about Zoya. Some people love them and some don't. I've also heard that some people have had issues with it taking forever to dry. I had no issues with application or drying. Here is the direct link if you are interested in ordering from Zoya : ) I thought this color was very pretty. I don't see it becoming one of my favorites though.

You might can find it...

Hello lovely ladies : )

I'm sitting here watching one of my favorite shows Will & Grace. I used to watch it all the time and I forgot how much I love it. Yesterday my best friend came over and we did our nails. We wanted to be outside by the pool and I sometimes polish my nails under the gazebo and it's nice. I forgot though that the top of the gazebo is gone since hurricane Irene. So we were sitting outside wondering why our nails were looking so terrible. Then I realized that the polish was just getting too warm outside in the sun and it was getting all goopey. We decided to come inside and finish doing our nails. I am teaching my new best friend Amber all about polish. I told her she could paint my nails whatever color she wanted and she decided to go with China Glaze OMG. I then explained to her that is one of the most expensive polishes out there right now and that it was discontinued. Of course her response was "Ash, how do you know so much about this stuff!?" Then I told her all about my awesome facebook friends and she thought it was so cool! So i told her that it was a holographic polish and that it was going to sparkle in the sun! She was in love with it! I was able to get OMG from a friend I met on fbook. She sold it to me for $16 which was a STEAL considering it goes for up to $35 or more on ebay right now. I really wish I would have been into nail polish when these first came out. I would have bought all of them! Well I won't keep you waiting anymore. Here is China Glaze OMG from the OMG collection : )
