Chanel Graphite

Hello everyone! : ) I'm sitting here catching up on Bachelor Pad from monday night. I don't know how I got sucked into this show but I did and I love it! I hope you all are having a great week. Since the hurricane  classes have been cancelled. I have just been hanging out with good friends and spending time with my family. Oh and of course painting my nails. I loved the formula on this it went on so smoothly. It even lasted 5 DAYS with NO chips! I got Chanel Graphite after I bought Chanel Peridot.  I loved it so much I just couldn't resist it. I mean the color is GORGEOUS! Don't you agree!? Let me just tell you these pictures don't do this polish justice! It comes from the Chanel Fall Limited Edition collection and let me just say get it while you still can! You won't be disappointed!

Essie-Splash of Grenadine

I picked up this color at Ulta when they were having a buy 2 get 1 free sale. Splash of Grenadine comes from the Resort Collection. I also picked up Turquoise & Caicos from this collection too. I liked this color alot. I picked it up because i don't have a color like it in my stash. For me this color is hard to explain it's kind of a cross between a purple and pink. I would say it's pink with a hint of purple : )

PS: I only have one picture because my camera was being a pain :(

OPI-Feelin Hot-Hot-Hot w/OPI I Lilly Love You : )

For this mani I was feeling like wearing something pink and for those of you that don't know me I love PINK <3 It's one of my favorite colors. I picked up this pink polish from the JC Penney Salon on clearance. This bright pink creme comes from the South Beach Collection Spring/Summer 2009.

OPI I Lilly Love You is a pink jelly base with alot of flakies. This mani did not exactly turn out the way I had envisioned it. I Lilly Love You was so hard to remove and putting over top of feelin hot hot hot was not the best idea. I only kept this on for a few days. I just didn't love it as much as I thought i would.

OPI Lincoln Park After Dark

I decided to do a mani with one of my favorite OPI's. It's classic Lincoln Park After Dark. It's the perfect dark plum color a lot of people even think it's black. I do think this color looks best on short nails. My nails are pretty long right now though. I've always hated the application of this but I deal with it because I love the color so much. It's always streaky and I end up getting too much polish on the brush or not enough. With that said I managed not to get any on my cuticles at all. People always ask me how do I get so close to the cuticle without the polish going all over my fingers and I always say the same thing. Practice Practice Practice! Practice makes perfect. I remember the time when I couldn't even paint my right hand so it looked halfway decent. Then again I may be kind of OCD when it comes to polish on my cuticles. Make this one of your go to colors for Fall <3

Essie Coat Azure

It's been a pretty good night so far : ) I did my nails with Essie Coat Azure it's an azure blue with micro shimmer. I picked this color up at Target in the clearance bin by all of the cosmetics for a little more than $5. It's from the French Affair Spring 2011 Collection. I have to say this is one of my favorite blues. It was almost completely opaque with one thick coat but I did two just to even things out. As always I topped it with Poshe topcoat. It's the fastest drying topcoat and the shiniest!

This is one of my favorite purples. It's a deep purple with a lot of sparkle! It comes from the Cosmic FX collection and it is still available at Ulta. When I was there the other day all the colors were in stock! Once I get It's not Rocket Science and Halley's Comet my Orly cosmic FX collection will be complete! This polish stayed on for 7 days with no chips. I was so amazed. I used Orly Bonder, 1 coat of OPI Nail Envy, 2 coats of Out of this World and OPI Rapidry topcoat

Orly-Sweet Peacock

Hello lovely ladies : )

Today I have for you Sweet Peacock from the new Birds of a Feather collection. I was instantly drawn to this blue shimmer. I bought this at Ulta this past weekend. My favorite place to get polish and any other beauty supplies I need! The application was fairly easy I used 2 coats for the pictures below. It was hard to clean up the excess that got on my skin. I think that goes for all dark polishes though especially blues. For my topcoat I used Essie Good to Go. I'm not really a fan of it. I don't think I will ever change topcoats. I just used the one I had available to me at my sisters house. I think Poshe will always be my go to topcoat. I need to pick up some more colors from this collection they are so unique to me :)

Kleancolor-Holo Chrome

Happy Saturday everyone! It's a gloomy day here in Wilmington, NC. I just received my new Kleancolor polishes. I was so excited I didn't even know which one to use first! I finally decided on Holo Chrome. It's a gorgeous blue holographic blue. It's so sparkly! I just love it :) I did not use a top coat because all I kept hearing was that it would ruin the holo-ness! I didn't want to take any chances on that happening. Check out these polishes on Beauty Joint for only $1.75! They are a steal. I would suggest ordering a bunch just because shipping was $10 although they came to my house really fast. I used 2 coats for the pictures below.

Chanel Peridot

Today I have for you Chanel Peridot. I absolutely LOVE this color. I first saw this color at the Chanel counter but I kept doubting buying it because it was pretty expensive. I have to say I've never paid this much for polish but Limited Edition's get me every time. Then one day I saw that Stephanie over at Imperfectly Painted had a post about it. After seeing how gorgeous it was I had to have it. Peridot is a multichrome shimmer that looks gold in pictures but it's also blue and green. I hope I don't start to develop a thing for Chanel polish it's much too pricey for me! I hope you all love this as much as I do! :)
